Information Flora handles
Cycle check-ins, period history, reminders, optional body profile details, and journal entries are stored locally. Supported mobile installations encrypt the private database at rest.
If you create an optional account, Flora's authentication service processes your email address and login security information. Passwords are not visible to Flora. The optional profile may contain a display name.
Flora does not upload cycle check-ins, period history, reminders, body profile details, or journal entries to the account service in this version.
This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If you contact support, your email provider and Flora's mailbox provider process the information you choose to send.
Why information is processed
Local information is used on your device to provide tracking, timing estimates, insights, reminders, and features you request. Account information is used to authenticate you and operate account controls.
You can continue using Flora without an account. Password recovery codes and account confirmation messages are sent to the email address registered to an account.
A topic suggestion is transmitted only when you write it and press Send. It should not contain health history, cycle dates, or identifying information.
Sharing and advertising
Flora does not sell health information and does not use it for targeted advertising.
Infrastructure providers process limited account, website-delivery, support, and email-delivery data under the arrangements needed to operate those services. They do not receive Flora's device-only cycle history from the app.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them, use Flora's complete-delete control, or remove the app and its storage. Because there is no cloud health backup, losing the device or removing the app can permanently remove those records.
Account deletion is available inside Flora and through the public account-deletion page. Confirming in-app deletion removes the login and account profile immediately and clears Flora's device-only records from that installation.
A remote support request can remove the online account and profile, but Flora cannot remotely reach information that exists only on your phone.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete information using Flora's controls. Depending on where you live, additional rights may include restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent.
For privacy requests that cannot be completed in the app, contact support@floratracker.com. Do not include cycle dates, journal content, passwords, or recovery codes in an email.
Security and device responsibility
Supported native builds use encrypted local storage and device-protected key storage. Flora also provides a six-digit journal lock. No technology can guarantee perfect security, so keep your device, email account, and Flora credentials protected.
Back up anything you cannot afford to lose in a place you consider appropriate before clearing app storage or changing devices.
Health and safety boundary
Flora provides timing estimates and general educational information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, emergency support, or a contraceptive method. Seek qualified care for health concerns or urgent symptoms.
